Since the game's release, a subreddit, a discord, and many youtube videos have been created, all about modding. On March 7th, 2017, Capcom released Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 on Steam, and a group of people quickly got to work trying to figure out how to mod it. The goal is to rapidly learn new technologies, while working on something that has personal significance. Anyways, these projects started as a way to force myself to familiarize myself with new programming languages, libraries, frameworks, etc.
